looking for recommendations for a MB indy in the North Dallas area of TX. i have a shop that i'm considering, but i wanted to see if anyone here had used them before and how happy they were with the service. the shop is Arthur's Service in Carrollton, TX. anyone use them and have any feedback??

any other independent shops in the Dallas area to consider? looking for service on a W124 and W220.

I have had good luck with Moe at: http://repairpal.com/m-and-m-auto-service-in-carrollton

He works on all of our cars (C230, E350 and CL65). He's not the cheapest option but he does quality work. Plus he is a nice guy!

i read the reviews online (@ repair pal) and they are overwhelmingly positive. the location of this shop is ideal as well - about 2-3 miles from my office.

Glad I could help! I'm sure you will be happy. I don't normally make recommendations like this but I've had some very positive experiences. If you want to know some shops to stay away from PM me. I have a nightmare experience with a local shop. Stick with M&M and you will be happy!

stopped by this morning and chatted with Moe. nice guy - straight forward approach. i didn't realize he was in the same exact building as Mullenix (porsche repair). taking the car by in the morning. thanks again for the referral.

Interesting. I also have a 85 930 slant nose convertible. Have you used Mullenix before? My car is highly modified (efi, 3.5 liter build, cams, knife edge, coil overs, etc...) I did/do all the work myself but time to wrench is slim to none.

BTW) Do you know there is a Ruff shop in addison as well? They helped me tune my efi a while back.

the S500 has been in and out of M&M Auto Service (Moe's) already and the service was as good as it could have been. super nice guy that repairs what needs to be repaired - wants to build return business instead of getting what he can out of you the first time to his shop. i'd recommend Moe to anyone. thanks again for the recommendation.

interestingly, there's also a good porsche mechanic a few doors down from Moe - Mullinex Motorsports.
