1992 400E Driver seat racked or twisted
I have a problem with the driver seat in my 1992 400E and I am not sure what is causing it.
The driver seat is visibly "racked" to the outside - it rubs the B-Pillar and is very visibly angled toward the outside of the vehicle if you look at it from the front.
What could be causing this? It seems to have happened rather suddenly.
I would really appreciate any suggestions or advice as to cause and repair. It is very uncomfortable to drive now!

The cable connecting the left and right riser gears slipped (or dislodged). You need to open the riser gears enclosure to level the seat's position and re-engage the cable.
