#10 Cylinder Head -1987
Hello All,
New to the site, hope you'll forgive me if I'm doing this wrong. I own a 1987 German imported 300D, non turbo. It's the OM603.912 engine. (Us models have the turbo and are the OM603.96).
My question is in regards to the cylinder head: I hear the US market #14 head is deadly SOB, know for blowing through water jackets and cracking the head. I was worried so I checked my head and it's a #10, and I cannot find any information about this head.
Can anyone give me links or fill me in on the life of this head? Anythings better than 14 I hear.
Thanks so much,
W124300
