m104 oil leak

Hi friends, I have a 300e24 m104 and I have an oil leak, as far as it is common in this engine, I think it is leakage through the head gasket, I see it on the distribution tensor, I disassemble the upper distribution cover And seal with glue the "u" -shaped rubber gasket, and still have the problem, the leak is exactly where it is seen in the photo, Is this fugue common?

No ^ sadly not. It's from the gasket, then it will need to be replaced unfortunately.

The U shaped should not be sealed with sealer! I did mine 4 times till it stopped. (the leak at the front by the timing cover)

While I was at it I did the headgasket also. Easy job but not to be underestimated if you do not have the basic tools/time/space. had the leak at the same place you did.

got a new one now somewhere but havent felt like finding it yet haha . I am done for a while
