Can anyone tell me what this is and how it works? I have a dead short somewhere and keep blowing a fuse.

Can you use Google search in the search box put in Check Engine Light Diagnostics . 1994 Mercedes e320 .

The small red button will flash the code to you if any found .You will need the code for your engine .It will flash a number of times if you count them then look the fault up.
