Advice Needed For 1985 230 E

Hello ! i was getting help from this forum for a long time by reading, now the time has come for me to ask a question.

i got a w124 230 E 1985 A/T it is my daily driver for more than a year now.
a few day back i hear the belt making noise so i checked it, it was very loose.
i loosened the 19mm bolt and try to tighten from the rod and it tightens but gets loose very fast.

So i thought the tensioner is shot so removed it with the worn belt. and there is no shock attached to it. maybe it get so loose and drop? or maybe the old owner removed and never put it back on ?

From the manuals i try to find how its attached, i cant find any pictures of m102 230e engine bay. i ordered a new tensioner, belt, and shock absorber they arrive but i couldn't find a way to attach shock to tensioner so while searching i found in the book and ordered the bracket as well.

can anyone please confirm this or send me photo of their engine and how tensioner and shock attached properly ? btw my car has no air conditioner.

i am waiting for bracket to arrive...

Thank you very much

By the way mind you put the adjusting tensioner in the right way or it will damage it .
