Hi All,

Started to replace the water pump last weekend

Whats the best method - it seems as though I have to remove the PAS unit underneath before the pump removal - I'm having trouble.

Any advice?

The answer is to:

- undo PAS pump casting bolts 4 + 1 allen key bolt (central in casting)

- remove fan and belt drive

- remove final PAS pump support bolt behind belt drive

- allow PAS pump assembly to fall - supported by strut

- undo water pump casting bolts

- undo jubilee clips etc

- congratulate yourself on posting questions, cursing in german, finding the answers and then posting replies to you own threads.
