Rear Differential Oil leak
On my E320 which has 48k miles yr 2000, rear wheel drive. NOT 4MATIC, i saw a little sopt of oil. It appears that the rear defferential is leaking. How much and what could it be ?

Mercedes has a UPDATED Rear diff cover to repair this ....Done several..
You can try to RESEAL the cover..but its best to replace the diff cover with the updated cover.

Problem fixed.
The issue was minor afterall. The vent's were clogged. The mechanic, cleaned the vents, flushed the differential with synthetic diffrential oil. Problem resolved. Cost + oil = $94.
