First Oil Change...How many quarts?
I am about to do the first oil change for my father's 2002 E320. How many quarts of oil is required? Can anyone confirm if its 8 1/2??? TIA

My 01 takes 8 qts to fill it completely including the oil filter. Pour in about 7 1/2 qts than check it, and top it off.

And if the engine is like my 300TD, its easier to fill through the oil filter container

First oil change on an 02 Vehicle?? This is 2006, thats very neglectful of maintainence. The 02's also came with free maint why was it not done years ago??

This is not the first oil change on the car. What i meant was this is the first time I am going to change the oil by myself on this car. The 4 year maintainence warranty recently expired.
