Change belt, worse fuel economy????
Perhaps it's my imagination, but since I had the belt changed on my 97 E420, it seems as if I've lost about 3-4 mpg?????

Am I crazy?????

I think that you put the horse before the cart--typically with good MPG belts folks will save and continue to use the old belt, but change the poor preforming engine!!Belt suppliers don't like that suggestion!!
