cleaning polishing fog lights 96 e320
i've polished the headlights on my e320 and now the foglights look not so spiffy......from a quick look it seems i'll have to take them out from the bumper to clean or polish them - if they are the same type plastic and not glass........
before i go further - can anyone tell me if they're glass or plastique? if glass can i take apart the lamp fixture and clean the lens?
If plastic i suppose i'll remove them and polish as i did the headlights. I was hesitant to take sandpaper to headlights but following through to the polishing stage made me a believer.....

thanks fabio....
it was well worth the hour on the first and ten minutes on the second!
I popped open the access panel, took the one vertical screw out and slid the light out the panel hole....three clips holding the glass to the housing were removed and i was able to properly clean the lenses......back together and even worked the wormscrew adjuster back and forth within its range to make sure it keeps working when needed......then of course i realigned the foglights since i had to play with the adjusters.....
thanks again....beautiful fog lights now....
