Question Blinking mirror bulb

Anyone know how to change the bulb on the 02 E blinking mirror??Must have made too many right turns or something

When I bought mine, one was not working. I spent a couple of hours tinkering with it trying to figure it out. It's a very cleverly engineered socket where it's plugged into and almost impossible for it to come off. Somehow, it had unplugged and was able to put it back in. I'm sure the PO never noticed it. Very satisfying repair BTW.

are you sure the bulb is bad? it could just be corrosion or the socket getting disconnected.

Fold the Outside mirror back and use a flat blade screw driver to release the metal spring clip that secures the mirror cover to the mirror base..then slide the mirror cover off..make sure to reset the spring clip...to remove the Turnsignal lens assy remove the screw that secures the lens assy to the mirror cover

Update,,,,got the mirror disassembled but could not get the LED unit out,but I tapped and jiggled the thing,,and the light blinks again,,,man them germans.
