fair price for demo '02 E430 4matic

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this great forum; have been lurking for awhile, and may soon join the MB family. I have the opportunity to purchase a 2002 E430 4matic Special Edition demo, 10 months old with 11,800 miles, Quartz Silver, heated seats, asking price is $52,800, MSRP new $58,000, located in Ohio at an MB dealer. The car drives well and the interior is virtually spotless. What is a fair price for this car? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I was asked for a brand new E430 $51,200 in August (MSRP $58,120). So, I would ask at least $3,000 discount for the price they are asking. Actually, $47,100 or less would be fair price in my opinion.

Seems a few grand too high. I would think ( KBB based ) Private Party Value @ $49,370.

I just bought a 02 E320 w/ 15,800 mi today for $38K. I know its less car, but it may give you something to compare to.

in aug '02, i paid $51.5k for mine, 6k on clock, perfect cond, orig msrp at just under $61k, and i had shipped from IL in closed trailer. (figure a grand for that shipping) , so you may be a touch high, however, since e430 4matic is somewhat rare, and we are into a rough winter in some spots, the dlrs might be a little stingier on these right now than other w210's.

2000 E430 Desert Silver
47K max !

ng1994,
The price is correct if the economy is good. It's not the case. I am sure you can get it for 47K. It has 11k miles.
You can buy mine for 40K - 2000 1/2 (April) only 8k miles, perfect condition
