W210 Search for RF Door Lock
! am looking for a Right Front Door Lock, Part #202 720 44 35, for my 1999 E430, VIN WDBJF70H6XA773897. The vacuum chamber for the locking system is leaking. M-B has discontinued the part. My dealer has tried to find one but has not had any success. The Classic Center referred me to LKQ but they have not responded to date. I found some at a recycler in Lithuania named Euro Impex Utena. I emailed them to see if they can ship to USA but the have not responded to date. I know this is a long shot but can any of you help? Do any of you have any knowledge of the company in Lithuania? If no new part can be found do you know of any reliable dismantlers or aftermarket sources?

How bad is the leak? Although my experience is not with MB, if it's like a pinhole, you can always try dab of silicone, or even a tape like Gorilla tape. If it's bigger than a pinhole, sorry.

If the leak is caused by the two halves of the door lock separating due to broken tabs, you should be able to reassemble it using some silicone seal and nylon tie wraps. I had to do that to two of my door locks in my w210.
For what it's worth I've ordered from Lithuania on several occasions.

After a suggestion from Benzworld I carefully examined the lower area of the lock where the tube connects (this version of the lock has the actuator incorporated into the lock). I found hairline cracks where the passage is plugged by steel *****. I encased the cracked areas with epoxy. The lock works properly now.
