Wiper won't park - stops too high
My wiper won't park correctly. It will wipe and then instead of stopping at horizontal, it will bounce up an inch or so. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Sometimes it bounces up so much that it actually does another wipe cycle.
I have taken the cover apart and lubricated the sliding parts. I think that I may need to clean a sensor, but I am unsure of where and how to get the assembly completely disassembled.
Any ideas what the problem is, how to fix it, or even how to fully take the wiper apart? Thanks.

This happened to my car a while back. It ended up that the arm that bolts to the wiper motor had slipped a few splines. I relocated it and torqued it down tight. Been fine since.
You have to remove the wiper motor assembly to get to it.

Thanks for the help. How do I get the assembly out?
I've removed the black cover and removed the rails that allow the wiper to go in and out. But I can't figure how to get the motor or the rest of the assembly out.
Thanks

This link explains how to disassemble. Will give this a shot when it stops raining.

The above directions show how to disassemble. I had to then open the sensor assembly (black plastic where the motor and transmission meet) and clean the sensor and bend it back straight. I also tried to readjust where the arm attaches to the motor. Seems to be working better now.
