Need Help with EGR O2 Codes, please !
I am a newbee. I have a 98 E320. Check engine light revealed 2 codes using a Actron Code Scanner from Advanced Auto. Codes are P0135, Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction, P0400 EGR Flow Maintenance, P0130 Sensor Circuit Malfunction, bank 1 sensor 1. Based on those codes, I replaced the EGR valve and the O2 Sensor on drivers side, before the cat converter. Check engine light came out again after about a 10 mile drive. Went back to Advanced Auto to use the Code Scanner. Scanner showed 2 codes now, P0400 and P0130. I used the scanner to clear the codes. Check engine light came on again after few miles, same codes. I dont know what to do now. I dont want to keep replacing parts. Thinking about MasS Air Flow now.....any advice would be greatly appreciated.

bank one sensor 1 is
passenger side o2 sensor. Why did you replace the drivers side o2 sensor?
Learn what side of the engine is the proper side and proceed from there.
Neither code is for the Maf. You are correct you don't want to throw parts at it but you need to do your homework. You did not need to replace your egr it did not fail it coded flow issue that means a clogged tube.

Thank you for the fast reply. So should I move the O2 sensor I put in on the drivers side, to the passenger side? Also, you mentioned that I have a clogged tube, what tube and where, egr?? I thought I did my homework in the EGR, but I guess I will take the new one off, put the old one back in, and return it, thats if they take it back now.

Did you clean the
egr tube going from the egr to the back of the intake?
Code should clear shortly if cleaned properly.Don't you have a scanner?
60 bucks at harborfreight tools.
Should have one in your tool box.
