I seen two advertised on Craigslist in Phoenix, I just don't know how committed you are on traveling. I have a 98 E300TD and I absolutely love this car. To give you an idea, I drive my E300TD more than my 2012 CLS550 bi-turbo.
I just got a 26.5mpg average driving in city. Driving 413 miles with 15.6 galons , the car has 266k miles.
