Front Wheel Bearing Change

Hi, Does anyone know or can tell me how to remove and replace the front wheel bearings on a 1996 E230 Estate? I keep putting it off as I can't find any information on doing this.

Many Thanks

Check the 'Look Here First' above for Gregs210's Brake DIY. That will help you get the calipers and rotors off.

The front wheel bearing info for the W126 should be adequate if you've done wheel bearings before. See here:

IIRC a special socket is needed for the axle shaft nut but double check as something ordinary may fit.

If you want to take a few pictures and post I'm sure many would be interested.

Thanks for that. In the link is a thread about someone with a W210 who's bearing had play which is what i've been told although mine are slight play. Might have a look and decide on repacking and tightening them or replacing them. If I do replace them, I'll try to take pictures to post. Again, Many Thanks
