Brake line leak and cant disconnect
I have a 96 e300D with 400,000 on it. Still runs great, but just sprung a leak in the drivers rear break line. Cant afford to take it to a dealership and so im fixing it myself. I cant get the damn metal line off the rubber line on the rear drivers side. I dont want to cut it off because i may cause more work for myself. somebody know anything about this? Please help

I am not sure exactly where the leak is , if your car is typical setup as the other W210 , you should have a rubber line from the Caliper to a bracket , it should come up from through the bracket on the bottom and link with hard line which comes in from the top of that bracket, you need two crescent wrenches , one for the top and one for the bottom going in two different directions , and that should separate the two, you might want to use some liquid wrench few times before , spry and let it it set for 20 minutes , then you should be OK separating the two.

Out Of Control!!
A word to the wise when you change both lines and hoses, please remember that MB uses a "metric" flaring tool(various size tube) that produces a much different tube flair than SAE.
Buy the lines and hose from a dealer as you will have much less head aches!!
If you don't correctly flair the metric break like it will sure leak!!
