I have been experiencing surging and random blower motor speeds when set to less then 1/2 fan speed on the climate control module. Also whenever my heater/AC was left on upon starting the car, these surges would significantly dim all lights on the car. It would go away if/when I turned off the heater/AC. Figured it was either blower motor resistor or blower motor. Turns out I had the newer resistor so I was able to just order that from AutohausAZ...installed it and voila! I have all speeds of my blower and no more surges = no more dimming of lights! Just a heads up for everyone
