my e class e240 grinding sound

i have noticed a grinding sound coming from my car when i take my foot of the accelerater and its getting louder by the day,i no its not the discs or brakes as had them checked today and they all perfect can anyone help me please

You might want to check out the drive shaft and/or transmission. When you take your foot off of the accelerator things like the flexible discs are not tensioned and noise might be more noticeable. I assume you had the wheel bearings checked as well as the brakes.

Does your engine have a fan on the front (as opposed to an electric one)? If so, the clutch (viscous coupling) could be bad and cause the fan to hit the radiator shroud.
