Better brakes - how are yours?

Even when this car has new pads and rotors on, the pedal feel has always been less than assuring... that is compared to say newer BMWs I have driven which are 'touchy' in comparison but I like the grabbing power on them.

How do yours feel?

I'm due to replace the pads soon (rotors don't need replacing but considering going for slotted in the hopes of improving performance) but if going to a big brake kit or something will improve the pedal feel then that's definitely something I'll look into.

What about the master cylinder/brake lines, something I can change/replace/upgrade to improve my stopping ability and pedal feel??

Mine feel the same way. I've been thinking of doing the same as you.

Yeh the brakes are annoying...

I found this thread which has prompted me into researching:
- E55 Brake retrofit (calipers, pads and rotors)
- C32 AMG brake retrofit (calipers, pads and rotors)

I'll see what I can find second hand

EDIT:
found these, good start I guess, i'll see what other parts I need http://www.ebay.com/itm/CENTRIC-141-...b16dcf&vxp=mtr

OK decided against the C32 brakes, now looking into a decent 4pot Brembo set, just finalising the order and should hopefully be on in 4-6weeks (things take a while to arrive downunder in Australia ) will report back with pics of course once they are on
