Hey, im new to this forum and looking for some help. When i turn the AC on in my 1999 E320 there is a slight hissing sound while it is blowing. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

this generally means you are low on r-134 but before you do anything run the onboard diagnostics http://www.eclassbenz.com/2010/02/ho...-malfunctions/

Time to recharge your A/C and inject dye to inspect for future leaks!

The two faults 1234 and 1235 are sun sensor and emissions sensor. The sun sensor impacts the start up fan speed and the emissions sensor impacts the vent closings. On a scale of 1 to 10----these are about 3------the data does suggest( #7,#5) that you are low on refrigerant and therefore the suggestion to get a leak test prior to a refill sounds sensible. Good Luck
