personally I am NOT a fan of Chrome but you have to do what you like. Also in my opinion these cars definitely need an altitude adjustment. The size is probably good. I have 19 inch wheels that I am refinishing for mine and I'll be installing H&R springs when I get an opportunity

98 S210 e320 4matic wagon

Looks a little different now. Running 19x9.5 in the rear instead of the 20x10 and no longer has the 3D carbon roof wrap and the grill is back to the original chrome strips instead of the black

Currently with Wife's S60T
I liked the bronze, kinda its own look and style, I considered bronze on mine but didn't know if it would work. Seeing yours now, you could definetly get away with it!

Nice look overall though
If the tyre diameters are the same front and rear there would be no problems.

Thanks! Definitely was unique but wasn't my vision. Sold those wheels and something new coming very shortly...

This is true, but looking at the picture they most definitely arent the same diameter. Hence the question

Haven't had any issues with computer errors whatsoever. The fronts are 225/40/19 and the rears are 285/40/19. As long as the 2 fronts are the same and the 2 rears are the same I don't see how it would cause any problems anyway?

Cool, I was really just curious because the "written word" is >3% variance. Definitely not wishing any issue on you but was curious as I am going to a staggered set up and at one point was having trouble figuring out tire sizes

How did you fit 285's in the rear? Rolled fenders?

Yes, they're rolled and they are the absolute maximum that I could get on there. When I wear these out I'm going down to a 30 series

Do you think 275's on 18's should fit no problem with stock ride height? I have 265's right now, but i want the widest rear tire i can get on there without any issues.

Shouldn't be an issue at all as long as you dont have some crazy offset.

The diameter of your rears are 2 inches greater than the fronts.

Try your cruise control over 60...it will not work. Your ABS will also be messed up and the other systems which rely on wheel speed differentials between front and rear to work correctly.

285/30 on the back will be better than your current set up because they will be very slightly smaller than the fronts.

Your backs are almost 3 inches greater in diameter than they should be. Playing with tyre sizes is ok...if you know what you are doing.

I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing, even if I am living dangerously by not having cruise control. I'm not even sure that my cruise doesn't work now, I don't care enough to go out and try it right now. My abs light isn't on either. My car may be the exception or maybe your car is just way smarter than mine?

Since the diameters front and rear are supposed to be the same (or near as damn it)...2 inches differential doesn't give me confidence that you do know what you are doing.

Who says they are supposed to be the same? If it were a 4matic car then I would understand. Its also a damn good thing that I could give 2 ****s less if some guy from where? Scotland? Thinks I know what I'm doing. I'm sure you are the pinnacle of the car world over there
