Interesting and useful story-e320 01 wagon, interior rear view mirror problem.
I inquired here a couple weeks ago asking how to open my rv mirror. very annoying rattling going on. no one here could tell me how to open. Fiigured it out. Pull down the mirror easily from the ball joint, then use screwdriver or similar to split at crack line-standard plastic clip points.
easy re-assembly careful to replace buttons, wires.
The amusing part is that the rattling was 5 or 6, 1/4 inch beads that somehow got in through the top opening. Cruising rattle free.
