how to remove injectors from om606 engine
hi everyone i have a e300td w210 1999 that i would like to remove the injectors and check them if they are needed to be replaced .
is there any guide with images or video that shows how to safely remove them ,
the reason why im doing this is that on idle the engine makes a knoking noise until it reaches the 85C degrees temperature than the knocking noise nearly dissapear . if the injector are fine (something that i really doubt) than i gues i should have to check the hydraulic valves or lifters if they are wear to change them all .

I think that you are being misdirected by an evil spirit conjured up by possibly a neighbors voodoo cult.
Although the job is an easy one, you need a special socket available on ebay. However once you remove the injectors, I would love to learn how you are going to test them and or do you know the actual values to test too
On a much more lighter side---you do not have bad mechanical injectors---you have bad logic!!look elsewhere and save your marriage!!
However after all you want to persist---search you tube there are loads of flicks on the 606

i receiving next week this tool https://mercedessource.com/store/cis...nozzle-cleaner to test them .
a mechanic advised me to add a small amount of oil to the fuel but the noise wont stop.
today after i started in the morning i noticed at the exhaust pipe creating water in the ground
the car have 202k km and are the original injectors ,maybe the nozzles need to be replaced after removing the injectors i think i will remove the glow plugs too to see if they need to be cleaned or replaced and clean the glow plug inner hole too from carbon, etc,
i love this car and i like to take care of it , before doing something wrong i thought it might be better to ask on the forum and have some opinions from the other users .
here where i live the are noo good mechanics so i think t do it by my self

I read the material in your posted link-----I would strongly advise you to do the same--the write up is for the old W124 CIS gasoline injectors---I could not find any reference to MB diesels 605 or 606 mechanical injectors where all you need is a pop off tester, but good luck!!
FYI--Do not put any oil in the diesel fuel plus spend some time with a sound probe(coat hanger) to locate the sound
