Hi Everyone

My old girl is causing me agro when i start in the mornings it can go two ways good start or missfire start ,it can also be good for 2000 miles . Codes p0303 p0135 and engine light if i drive 500yards with the missfire stop lock the girl up unlock restart all is fine. all earths seem to be in good condition the car is dual fuel LPG so it starts on petrol
I have replaced Bank 1 sensor 1 . All 12 plugs have been replaced and a new air filter fitted. has anyone got a diagram of the vacuum pipe layout on the V6 2.8 engine

I just found a perished vacuum pipe at the front of the engine. Replaced with silicon tube will have to wait and see if this has cured the problem

Hi syseng,
Did you clear codes after replacing sensor and plugs?

If so, and the codes reappear, then I'd check resistance of coil(s) and wire(s).

Hi HappyWagon

thanks for the reply

Yes all codes cleared , i am sort of thinking wires ,it a starnge fault ,the car can go for weeks months the throw a code again after a few good starts the codes clear but its always bank1 sensor 1 which is a new sensor i have two weeks off in mid august i will look more into it , i might give the egr a good clean and look at the air pump ,as i believe this is connected to faster exhaust warm up when starting. its not a fault i can reproduce so testing is a little bit of a problem , the last time it happend the motor started fine i drove 200 yrds and the Cel came on and misfired i stopped turned the motor off locked the car unlocked restarted all was fine .
after a restart the motor runs fine

well the saga goes on the problem came back again this time i looked for perished vacuum pipes ,found some from the map to the center of the manifold ,so its air pump and egr`s out and replace all vacuum pipes with silicon pipes
