hook it up to a ODBII reader to determine the cause of your CHECK ENGINE light

I did read random cylinder missfire o2 sensors but that was before I put the spark plugs and wires and o2 sensors on it do I need to check for different codes again

Hi bchi205,
Did you clear codes after replacing parts?
Thanks.

First, check current codes.
Clear if any.
Then try to start engine.

Start or not, check for codes.
If necessary, then do more research.

Your battery is on its last leg? How are you starting it? Are you jumping it to start then removing the jumper cables? If you are not getting close to a steady voltage out of you battery, it can do what you are describing. The battery stablizes the voltage and cars will not run without steady voltage. Did this problem occur after your recent parts replacement on the car?
