2000 e320T strange accelaration?
Hello Guys,
Under 2000 rpm not too much going on, then when I boot her she will go....but she feels as if with every 1000 rpm up she kicks into another mixture or ignition or so and accelerates faster. So the accelaration is not smooth and linear but as if it is stepped. Could this point to a slow O2 sensor? Dying or slow airmass meter? Or does it sound familiar at all to any one?
She is a bit shaky at idle, feels like little misfires but no cel and no codes that i can find on my autel reader.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Marc

Out Of Control!!
Sounds like you may have a faulty pedal sensor---your problem is that you do not have the diagnostic equipment to quick test and confirm!!
Don't fall pry to those-------"Oh I can do that" mentality garages---Have em show you the beef----"What diagnostic equipment do they have and show me a copy of the quick test?"

"so a normal benz dealership can test and confirm?"---that's just one good choice, however there are garages that have good diagnostic equipment---you just have to be as smart as them and ask the right questions----and that question is what I suggested<!-- google_ad_section_end --> in post 2 second paragraph!!

Ask for the star
When i enter a new shop the first thing i check is if he has the star diagnostics,
if he doesn't know what it is or don't have it, to me it means that this mechanic 1-is a noob concerning mercedes
2-doesn't have the money to get the star, which is not good for me
and i also usually ask lots of questions i know the answer to just to see his experience.
and look at his tools, if he has lots of gizmos like computers and oscilloscopes. this means he knows hows to use this expensive weird stuff and knowledgeable in general
lots of cars (same model as yours )in his shop is usually a good sign
