Anyone install a backup camera in their W210?
I am putting in a new Single Din radio with Navigation and want to take advantage of it's capabilities for a backup camera. I can figure out how to mount it on the trunk lid above the license plate, but was hoping someone might have figured out the most efficient way of getting the cable all the way from the camera to the center console.
Thanks in advance!

i'm about to do the same, single DIN...and was thinking of simply following the
wiring along left side. the harnesses there are bundled for audio, antenna,
phone, etc so i figured there might even be a conduit, or at least a larger
passageway.

Pioneer AVH-P6400BT new old stock. picked up camera bar off ebay which mounts using the license plate top screws.
I wasn't interested in an onboard GPS using MB hardware since they were limited in function. So I'm satisfied using
the cheap refurb Garmin units or my aviation based Garmin (when I'm not using for flying)

Hey I am attempting to do the same. I would love some advice that either you have on your projects. I sent the video lead through the left side of the car now entering the driver side door well I am not sure the best location to send the cable to the center console. Also just double checking you wired the lights above the license plate? There were three wires, any insight as to which one is negative? Thank you!
