2000 E320 valve cover problem....

Yesterday I wanted to clean the throttle plate. I loosened up the air charge pipe and wanted to carefully pry off the vacuum hose to the left valve cover....careful because they tend to be brittle.... while carefully trying to get it off at the airchage pipe side it suddenly came loose on the valve cover side... ah I thought...thats easy.. but alas... the hose did not come off the nipple of the valve cover, ,,,, the nipple borke off from the valve cover....After a closer look it looks as if a previous owner has work done, the nipple had broken off and intead of replacing the little cover they tried to glue back the nipple...
So I found a complete cover at the breakers and now the question is: is it adviseable to replace the whole valve cover (with new gasket and fresh hoses) or is it easy to just replace the small cover (with hoses and liguid gasket)?
And is it adviseable to use new bolts all around? They look to made out of soft material and I hate to loose some when retorquing....
Thanks for any tip,
Marc

Do you have any idea what the torque requirements are for the valve cover bolts?

I would change every rubber and plastic hose I could plus a new gasket!!

Just replace the breather cover. Yes, replace those little bolts.

valve cover bolts are like 8lb ft or similar. Be very careful with the very small bolts, they snap easily.
