Vacuum line going........ no where????

Hello Guys,

saw this little white line coming out of the firewall in the engine bay... and traced it back to a nice vacuum connection, no idea if it needs to be connected to anything and if so to what.... could not find anything to connect it to..:

The one that branches off to the left, it exits the firewall insulation just above the air charge pipe..below that electrical bundel ... any suggestions????
Thanks,
Marc

Flapper(?) valves under the dash that direct the air flow to your feet, straight out the dash, or up to the windshield. Once you find the other end, just use a piece of vacuum tubing to splice the hard line.

There are a couple of posts on here about it but it may take a bit of searching.

Found an article online and the counter hose should be at the back of the intake manifold. Must have knocked it off when I removed the air pipe to clean the throttle valve, will have a check when it islight outside and see if I just disconnected it or if I knocked of the hose between this whiteone and the intake manifold.

Thanks,
