Replacing Central lock vacuum pump

My pump has been sketchy since it got wet and some of the pin connectors fried. I was thinking of splicing in another one from eBay. If I get the exact one with all the cable connectors and splice it in, will it work? or would it likely need reprogramming? What's involved in reprogramming? The model number on mine is 2108001948. Thanks

No programming needed, it's plug & play,,

just insure the warranty for the pump you will take, usually these used PUMPS fail if it been long term in the SHELVES..

It is not plug and play if the pump does not come from a model car just like yours.

Look to EPC for your pump number and be guided accordingly!

FYI---screw splicing, purchase a connector and pins and do it correctly!!

I'm currently using the same #: "210 800 19 48", it's Exactly the same pump,

all W202/W208/W210 uses the same pump, i used it also in my previous W210 E60, it's plug & play,,

see EPC with all replace #s: "210 800 11 48" or "210 800 12 48" or "210 800 19 48" or "210 800 27 48" or "210 800 30 48"..

Thanks for the help. I finally got around to fixing this. took a chance with a used pump for $65 on eBay, spliced in the connectors that came on the new pump, hooked everything up and bam, I have a truck that opens again. Everything works fine now. My interior lights come on with the rear doors now which hadn't been working.
