I have a 2000 E430 and I'm looking to change the exhaust to a NICE system. I want DUAL EXHAUST not just DUAL TIP with that aggressive EUROPEAN SOUND. ANYONE have any ideas, setups, suggestions......and so on. Called Borla and they are NO HELP AT ALL. PLEASE HELP! Thanks. Don't/can't break the bank as my Dr WONT let me work.

I believe the e430 already has true dual exhaust (two pipes from the engine to the muffler) , unless it's a station wagon.
Best mod performance, sound and $$$ wise, is resonator delete with x-pipe in place of the secondary cats.

Res delete and x pipe is the way to go. The only Quad exhaust (what i think you're talking about) is basically for looks.

From what I know (and seen), people get w210 AMG muffler and another set of tips from the w210 muffler and fab this up themselves.

I might have a muffler I'm willing to part with. You'll still need a set of tips

What type of Muffler and how much? I now know that I have to fab or have someone fab the rest. So other than the muffler I have to delete the resonator/ and use a cross pipe. Another guy on you tube did the same but used a Magnaflow muffler and Magnaflow tips. Has pics and a video as well. Sounds really nice
