Hello all, ive just bought my first car after getting my p's (e240 1998) and have been loving it to death. Only issue is ive gone and gotten my 'best of the doors' cassette stuck in the tape deck. I absolutely love cassettes so I would prefer not to damage the system as much as possible. Ive tried tweezers but it just wont come out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Try holding down the eject button for 30 seconds!!

Sounds like the tape pickup mechanism does disengage. If holding the eject doesn't help, remove the radio and disconnect the power. Reconnect and see if that helps. Be sure to have your radio code first. Also, look for a small hole on the back. Some cassette mechanisms have a manual release that you stick a stiff wire (paper clip) in to eject the cassette. If all else fails, open the radio chassis.
