Need help with 2002 E 320 (base)
My car shut off while I was driving it.
The steering wheel got stiff and dashboard lights came on. Then it died. I tried jumpstarting it and initially it would try to turn. After a while it quit "clicking."
The electronics seem fine (fuses, relays, etc) except the TCM: it was filled with oil.
Can the TCM cause the car not to start? Also...not getting any codes through a cheap code reader.
Please help!

Out Of Control!!
Very odd to say the least, Yes an oil soaked TCM could stop and not allow the car to start, however if that happened your check engine light would have come on!!
Battery quit clicking=battery dead!!
If this is a hoodie car, and once you recharge the battery, your best bet is find a bro with a cool aid scanner!!
