Please Help! Unknown Noise

Hello all, thanks in advance for the great info I'm sure I'll get here!

Got a 2001 E430 4matic. For the past few months I've had a sort of light rattle coming from the area of the driver side front wheel when I go over small bumps. Been diagnosed as sway bar bushings, inner and outer tie rod, front spring, and front axel pulling out because of a broken ring of some kind. That last one was the MB dealer. All of the above was fixed. Every time one of the problems is fixed, the rattle seems to go away for a few days, then come back. And it's back now! I can actually feel it a bit in the floor, and it's only when that wheel goes over small sharp bumps, just when the wheel gets jerked up quickly.

Any thoughts would be great, I don't think there is much left to replace up there!

Cheers

This could be a broken spring (although I would think a dealer would have found it). These cars are known for broken springs and I have had several. On one vehicle the spring was broken in the middle and there was no noise. I only found it when I was checking brakes and rotating tires. On another vehicle a small piece of the spring broke off from the bottom. This made an intermittent noise going over bumps.

You know I had a broken spring on that side and it was making intermittent noise but it was just replaced. This noise is more like a rattle, I'm almost thinking that maybe it's not suspension related at all, since almost everything's been replaced. But I can't think of what else it could be!

Worn shock mount? My upper mount rusted and made a noise going over bumps.
