Rear spring brace/cup rusted out
Hello guys I'm hoping someone can help. When replacing my e320 rear brake pads I noticed the top of the rear spring brace/cups were pretty rusty and need replacing I have seen plenty on replacing the front spring cups but nothing for the rear surely there must be another car out there who has had the same problem. Hopefully someone can help as I have searched and found nothing im hoping theres a replacement panel i can cut out the cups/braces and then weld onto my car after i have removed the rusty old ones.

Thanks for your reply Raymond been on that forum and all the rest of the mercedes forums there is plenty of people changed the front spring perch but cant find nothing on the rear anywhere. Its no big problem as i will just eventually modify the front perch replacement part to suit the rear weld it in place and beef it up again and be done with it.

i've seen vendor selling them (aftermarket). and though they may be for front,
i dont see the technique in cutting and welding them much different than rear.
check http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/ forum, also http://www.mbca.org/forum
