The simplest way is to open the radio and solder a Aux in cable to the circuit board. Directions for doing it are available on benzworld/W210/stickies.

You'll need a set of 'radio keys' to remove the radio. They work for the CC unit as well.

Benzworld is a MB website just like MBWorld (this one). It has a W210 forum just like this one. At the top of the forum there are permanent threads sometimes called stickies because they don't scroll downward with time. In the stickies there is one for radio issues. It's there.

There is also info on aux in installation in the Audio/Electronics forum at this website. Click on MBworld.org Forums link at the top and scroll down to that forum.

Thks for yr info , Richard.
I've found a AMI cable at Toabo.com ( alibaba china).
Can I take the CD connector out of the radio back & replace by this connector cable. Switch to CD mode , will it works with my iPhone5? It can save me lots of time.
Price of this cable costs US$10 only.
Cable description is call : Benz AMI MMI AUX cable with 3.5MM plug for iPhone5,5s,6
Please comment !

That should work but I would pull the radio and confirm that that connector is compatible with your radio. I added Aux In similarly but I made my own cable but the connector on the back of my radio (Becker) was different. Of course you'll lose your CD player but with only 6 CD capacity that's not a problem.

Most people route the cable thru the 'cubby' between radio and ash tray or over to the glove box. You could also route it thru the center console to the center console storage box but you might need a short cable extension.

W210 Radio

My car radio system with 6 CDs player at the trunk.

Henry, sorry for calling you wth a wrong name. My radio is as photo attached.
Yes, I need to check this cable connector is same as my radio connector.
I need to buy a pair of radio key to take the radio out before I order this cable.
