remote start possible?

hello mbworld 1st want to say thanks to all u out there who are helping all of us with these vehicles! hoping for some of that help or any ideas info etc.have a 2002 e320 sedan and wondering if its possible to install a compustar remote start system in the vehicle?living in az the summer sees a 100 plus days so a black benz with leather can be a little unpleasant.wondering if i can install another key somewhere in car since they are saying key has to be in ignition to start?or is it possible to switch out key all together?any help is appreciated.thanks

My command start guy told me no-go on this car. I'm not clear if that means it can't be done, or he just won't do it, lol.

hey, with enough $ it can be done. but it may not be cost effective. think about
it - you'll need to work around the central locking system which requires active
interrogation of the rolling code in order to unlock. traditional wisdom: until
you find a way to 'trick" the ignition into such a bypass, it ain't happening.
