W210 Interior light delay problem

1997 E420, 1997 E420 Sport and 1990 300CE
W210 Interior light delay problem
My interior light on the '97 W210 won't do the delay mode on 3 out 4 doors. Switches are set in the right position, I have replaced new door switches but still have the same problem. Dash light does go out, overhead will not.

Is there some sort of relay or ??

It's an issue with the front SAM--the bad news is that only DAS Xentry will tell you the exact issue!!
