Minor repairs.
I wanna do a few fixes on my e320 1998 sedan I've been needing to get done for a while but cant seem to find any info on it. The roof is leaking a bit during the rain and the rubber form the sunroof is coming up so I ordered a new sunroof seal, is this as simple as pulling out the old one and putting in the new one with the sunroof open? Also one of the brake lights won't work so I ordered a new lens, was wondering how to remove it so I can put the new one in.

Regrettably, I could not get the molding vid to play, in any event the process is not a pull and plug operation--front screws have to be removed and the orientation of the new gasket must be correct or you are foooked---if you don't have access to WIS search You Tube there are excellent vids on the subject---for me I can't learn the vid way---I need a piece of paper in front of me--that's the reason for WIS even for the simplest of jobs.

You have jumped to a false conclusion---go back to your first post=is this as simple as pulling out the old one and putting in the new one with the sunroof open? The answer is no,but because you have not read the removal instructions or watched a You Tube you assumed the worst--that is not the case, however you do not have to take any thing out except the front screws--that does not equate to " needs to be completely removed--where the F did you get that idea--do some reading and viewing and calm down you will get gray hair over a gasket!!
