I noticed rust under the molding and I'd like to take care of it. How do I remove the molding? Is it glued on, fastened with clips, or is there some fastener I need to remove from inside the door panel?

if you're referring specifically to the 3' horizontal door molding, there should
be a video on youtube. MBUSA used to provide the download free but that
link is dead. I have it at home on my PC so yell if you cant find the YT video
