i own a 1999 w129 SL500
1999 E320 v8 engine and transmission swap to 1997 HELP!
I'm taking a V6 engine and transmission from a 1997 W210 E320 . My wife smashed her 97 E320 and I just came across a 99 model with a hole in the block. I was wondering if I were switch out motor, transmission, muffler, and all corresponding cpus. Do I have to do any flash or coding? If anyone can help I would appreciate it very much.

ok sorry for the long time to respond I'm going from 722607 to 722605. I changed bell housing but I noticedon't that converter bolts won't match can I change the fly whee, and starter tool? will it make a difference?
