Hi again... I have a 97 E320. Despite running hot lately it is an awesome car. But there are two dashboard alerts I'm getting that are pretty annoying- Wash Fluid Low and Head Lamp Defective. I have washer fluid in it and all my headlamps work just fine!

Anything I can do and any idea why this is happening? I didn't get an alert when my car almost overheated, why am I getting not one but two alerts for stuff that's not even wrong? Haha

I would pull the respective connectors and try to clean---however you may have an issue with the front SAM!!

if you google this, you are likely to read of other cars with similar symptoms.
the fluid low system is believed to be designed to function based on a resistor
based circuit. fast forward to premixed fluids we buy which may be mixed with
additives which can cause build up on the conductor/sensors within the fluid
tank. if this is the case here, the solution is to dismantle (if need be) and
clean off the crud. i just noticed this on my 99 E320 but haven't had the energy
to get out of my recliner now that football pre-season has started. okay..maybe
i'll get to it today and if I do, will report back. come help me do this, Plutoe! haha

haha, that's right, Labor Day weekend.....i'm not moving out of the recliner. should've trained the dog to fetch a beer out of the fridge
