Check engine light- on Glacier Park Switch Backs

The check engine light came on twice coming down Logan Pass in Glacier Park, MT today. The first time I removed the gas cap and cycled the start process 3-4 times and light went off. It was running perfectly prior to and during the light being on. 5 hours later coming down the west side of the Pass it came on again (still running fine, I have 1/2 tank of fuel). Could the light have anything to do with the change in elevation?

Assuming you have cleared the faults and they do not return, I agree with your supposition that the high altitude would screw up the Lambda and therefore report a fault!!
