98 E240 ticking noise after oil change

So i just did an oil change today, filled it up with 0w-40 Castrol oil. Filled it up to right under max. Did my first drive with it after this, drives like a dream as always. Parked it, didnt turn off the engine and popped the bonnit. This is when i notice this weird ticking noise that i cant seem to remember to have heard before. Is this something to be worried about or is it normal? Might have been there before the oil change as well just that i haven't noticed, oil change doesnt need to have anything to do with it of course Anyways.. Here's a video i shot of it

The ticking is coming from the little...thingy.. i'm filming, what is this thing? It is marked with MOT as you can see in the video.
Thanks in advance!

Nvm this! I managed to get an answer on it.

It is the purge valve for the evaporative emissions. It allows the engine to suck out the fuel vapor in the tank. It is commanded to operate by the engine control unit as needed and may not always be running. The noise is normal.

That is correct. People post occasionally about their concern with that noise but it is normal.
