E300D Fuel Leak(s) parts list

My OM606.912 has some fuel leaking onto and around Fuel Filter Mount. Couple other areas look damp also. Hard to tell what exactly needs to be done. Have cross over Intake Manifold design. Which covers most of what I need to inspect!

My question to all you is this. Has anyone made up shopping list for all lines, brackets and seals that should be replaced when I go in?

Want to do best job I can on this project. Thanks in advance

There are loads of good\bad lists on this an other lesser forums--however the correct way to address the problem is to get a FREE subscription to MB EPC--put your VIN in and search all the individual parts for your specific engine---very simple---not only do you see the complete layout with part numbers for your VIN, in the process, you also learn much about your car !!

Go to benzworld and you will find parts numbers, drawings and pictures served in stickies on sliver plate.

No need to struggle alone.
As I said, you have the whole procedure detailed on other side.
I don't think this forum will allow linking to the competition, but you can always PM me.

Since you mentioned the leak as "onto the fuel filter mount", I suggest that you find the return line that comes out of the filter mount right behind the primary filter. The o-ring on the plastic T fitting where it fits into the filter mount can be neglected and has a tendency to leak. The fan blows leaking fuel around so much it can be difficult to tell where it is coming from. I suggest that you wrap a strip of paper towel around suspect joints and run the engine a bit to see if the fuel saturates the towel. In my experience with this engine, once you solve all the leaking problems, celebrate quickly, because you will soon be looking for the source of another leak.
