Mercedes-Benz w210 E270 CDI '00
temperature engine

I have a Mercedes-Benz w210 e270cdi 2000. My engine temperature run 60°C. Anyone can help me, is these normal or no? Thanks.

Thermostat is going bad they tend to open earlier when they go bad

Engines typically run around 80 to 90 degrees C, with 100 possible in some very harsh conditions. It sounds like your thermostat is not closing properly.

Here in hawaii im pretty much at 90 degrees every night and like 100 every day. Ambient temperature is always high 80s to low 90s. You wont really run into issues if youre running that cold except you will get less MPG because the engine really isnt warm enough. Changing the thermostat will be a very simple first step. Its super easy to do...can be done in like 10 minutes or less.
