W210 E300TD front windows, seats and mirrors

Hello,
my front windows, the automatic seats and the power mirrors all stopped working simultaneously. The rear power windows work normally. I have checked the three different fuse boxes and have found no blown fuses. Anyone ever heard of this before? Any suggestions to troubleshoot would be appreciated. Thanks

If you do not have any diagnostic equipment and you don't know where those systems get voltage----all you are left with is the may pole approach----disconnect the battery for a minute or so reconnect---do those systems function.

PS: Make sure your key is out of the ignition module before even looking at the battery!!

Smile It worked!

Thanks Plutoe. It worked immediately and then I had to let the car sit for a while when I went out of town. It did the same thing where the front mirrors, front seats and windows didn't work. I reset the battery negative and it has been working flawlessly for a few days. Anything I need to replace so I can permanently fix that? Thank you!

A gaggle of MB's
In addition to making sure your battery terminal/cables are clean - and that the grounding strap has a clean connection to the chassis - the next suspect would be failing battery - where over short time the voltage drops below min to maintain settings - that would be the direction I would take - and keep up the good habit - key OUT of ignition when disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.

Well the issue has returned, I replaced the battery and cleaned the contacts. If I unplug the battery the seats, mirrors and windows will work until the car sits for a day or two, then they will freeze in place. What would be the next logical option to fix? Any insight appreciated!
